Clutter Queen – Emotional Space

Dealing with clutter can open up not only the physical space, but also emotional, psychological and spiritual spaces!~Peter Walsh

Now I’m understanding this a bit better.So I’m not lossing my mind after all.

Today has been one of the days that (can I just start over) I’ve not figured out.

My Daughter and I had a day.

This Clutter Queen is totally feeling the emotional side of things today.NOT CYCLE related!~

Up, down, backwards, forwards, good, bad & ugly, sweet, loving then angry and hideous.  Then all of it all over again. WHAT?!?!?!   I swear I think Men have 1/5 of the different emotions that women have.

My husband agreed that at least he has 1/5th of what I have.

Not much happened today really. Or so I thought.

But then reading the quote from Peter Walsh – well my eyes opened.

Breakfast and Groceries were accomplished. Believe it – $330 to fill a small cupboard and half a fridge. Ouch!

My Daughter played while I shopped and we were both happy. Thank YOU CO-OP!

She is Thrilled to be a KIDS CLUB MEMBER.

Home to put stuff away. Little to no co-operation there. What can I expect from almost 4? Why did I expect more?

I expected her to find a place for the foods she likes in a cupboard that was already full. Poor Girl!

Then I’m the best Mom in the world for putting on her new Tattoo – again Thank YOU CO-OP!

I wanted the Tattoo – Big heart with kids playing in it – I AM SPECIAL!

Snacks, TreehouseTV, Crafts and me on the computer catching up on emails. Whew!

I think I deleted about 500 emails in the last 2 days. Move from one account to another.

I was running out of space in my email account.  So at first it was the MOVE IT FROM HERE TO THERE.

OKAY NOW I HAVE 3 OF THE SAME EMAIL. THE ORIGINAL, THE ONE IN MY SENT FILE, AND THE ONE IN THE NEW LOCATION. Created a bigger problem! It did get better. I made folders.  Now there are rooms, many rooms.

This is the beginning of organization, RIGHT?!  You might laugh, I actually thought of upgrading my email account

to accommodate the clutter -instead of dealing with it.  OH, OH, OH – sounds like moving from a smaller house to a bigger house. HMMMMMM.  YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well there it is. I’m getting rid of more cluttering.  If it is in one place it is everywhere!!!

I actually did get to the point of creating an Urgent deal with now file – filled and emptied it.

I’m going to try the “DEALING WITH AN EMAIL ONCE” method – that’s tomorrow.

There is more on the emotional side – I leave saying this,

I wrote myself a note – something I saw in an email,

“A LOVING ATMOSPHERE IN YOUR HOME IS THE FOUNDATION FOR YOUR LIFE”.

CLUTTER QUEEN’s Power Hour

This Clutter Queen has been BUSY!! Alot has happened in the last few days and I plan to share it all with you soon. Watch for Video and mabybe even a contest or two. I’m committed to WHAT I WANT. WHAT I WANT is to move. WHY? More room and more rooms. As well as a yard. Details of “INSIDE THE NEW HOUSE” another day. I’m testing several theories. Some of what I’ve read and learned over the years. Apparently, Life is rather simple. If We DEFINE -The WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY & HOW. WHAT – NEW (to me) HOUSE; WHERE – Working on this (same city)….; WHEN – ASAP; WHY -MORE SPACE – YARD TO PLAY IN, 2-3 MORE ROOMS; HOW – This is what Gets it DONE!! The ACTION. Then Feel what it is like to be there. I CAN SEE THE YARD, IMAGINE THE LAUGHTER and ALL THE ROOMS. So my First Action was to commit to getting rid of clutter, so that we can take pictures of this BEAUTIFUL PLACE. Note: we’ve out grow the place – I still love it!!! So here is my Power Hour. Up 7am. Put Coffee on and Clean up Dishes. I’m a one cup girl – no one else in the house drinks JAVA. This AM it’s Tim Hortons Decaff. Take something out for dinner. This morning it was STEAK. No offence my VEGAN friends. I could do the VEGAN lifestyle – my husband however would be hard pressed. So as I’m planning my day – I set out a Toy for my Daughter (4 years old in SEPT – ouch, sniff, sniff) This is so I can make Breakfast with less distraction. Parenting – WHOO HOO! Tidy up what’s left out from last evening. Check the Laundry – new load, dry load? Hubby needs hangers… Today the floors are getting cleaned – by me and my little helper! I get out my cleaning tools. AWE – Coffee is ready. Nice. So I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with sugar. I love IT – It hates me. So I use a bit of, 1 of these 3 sweeteners. Organic Raw Blue Agave, Certified Organic Raw Honey, or Organic Pure Maple Syrup – Amber. Computer is on – time to check emails. Okay – this Clutter Queen has clutter every where. YES this includes her computer.Right now I have 3 email accounts. With 9 email addresses. – I’ll explain later. Light load today 97 emails. I check TWITTER and FACEBOOK. Send direct messages to my new followers. New comments on both. Also, Help a Friend get the word out about her book. Some of this is a Brain dump from last night – when I could not sleep. I have 5 different tasks on my list today. This involves communication with at least 7 people. If I get all of them done, I will feel like I’ve had a productive day.Very important for me to feel productive. Although I do realize that the only person I can control is me. OKAY! I have a problem.

Yes, my Dear Husband has been trying to tell me for years.

I’m a CLUTTER QUEEN.

I have years and years of clutter to go through.

Some of them might turn out to be Treasures  for others.

I have a life time of things to complete.

The “One Day” stuff has piled up. Litter-ally. HEHEHEHE

In the last 4 years the pile has gotten bigger – rather than smaller.

I need to make a Dent.

The Reality Check is – I need a PLAN.

So I’m going to list everything I find.

2 bins of scrapbooking, 1 of crafts, 1 of keepsakes from with my Daughter was born.

Then there’s the 4 years of pictures and frames. Oh, yeah – Videos and CDs. YIKES!

My Motivator – NEW HOUSE!!

WE ARE MOVING!!!

Not sure when or to where yet – but it’s coming!
